The Admirals Most Valuable Player Award is named after a former player,
Frank Harris.
He gave up his dream of playing football to give the ultimate gift
of life - by donating his kidney to his brother.
Each year the Frank Harris Award will go to (and not only for the
best player on the Admirals), but to the player who also does something
extra off of the field.
